Robert (Rob) Waldo has been proud to call Greeley his home most of his life and is currently the sole owner and practicing attorney at Waldo and Waldo. His dad, Ralph Waldo, Jr., started the law practice in 1938 after graduating from the University of Colorado School of Law. In 1942, he enlisted in the U. S. Navy where he served as an officer during World War II. Rob’s grandfather, R. E. Waldo, a graduate of the University of Nebraska School of Law, continued the practice in Ralph Jr.'s absence until his return at the end of the war when they began the partnership.

Rob graduated from Greeley Central and earned his undergraduate degree at Stanford University, his law degree from Bates College of Law at the University of Houston, and in 1978 joined his father at the firm. Rob is a member of both the Colorado Bar Association and the Weld County Bar Association.

In the tradition of his family, Rob believes in giving back to his community. In addition to practicing law, he has served on the board of directors of numerous non-profit organizations in Greeley. He was Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Community Foundation Serving Greeley and Weld County, is a past president of the Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra Board of Directors and has served on Greeley's Parks and Recreation Board, Greeley's Transportation Advisory Board, and the University of Northern Colorado's Performing and Visual Arts Advisory Board.
